As for the areas of intervention, they are increasingly vast and diversified, covering all age groups and intervening in the various healthcare spaces - hospitals, schools, sports clubs, clinics, homes. As for the general context of physiotherapy, education is increasingly demanding and degree courses are longer and more intensive in order to train more competent professionals in the various areas of intervention.
However, there is still little individualised physiotherapy, which doesn't follow the patient's progress and the system doesn't allow the treatment to be altered according to the patient's daily condition.
Physiotherapy is an area of health that focuses on prevention, diagnosis and treating of dysfunctions in movement and body functions resulting from physical conditions, illnesses, injuries or ageing. Physiotherapists use a variety of therapeutic techniques and resources, such as physical exercise, manual techniques and teaching, to help patients improve or recover their functional and physical abilities and life quality.
In our view, physiotherapy, as a diagnostic and therapeutic technique, only makes sense when it is applied to individually and adapted to the patient in front of us. Each patient has a unique story that needs to be listened to and assessed in order to obtain the best and quickest results. The evaluation is a key process in our approach, as we seek to resolve the origin of the problem and not just its symptom. Only in this way will you achieve lasting results.
• Individual sessions;
• Assessment, Treatment and Teaching in each session;
• Manual therapy and therapeutic exercises for each patient;
• Holistic vision with a focus on the source of the problem;
• Constant follow-up after the session;
• We don't sell packs of sessions because our aim is to treat the symptom and the cause as quickly and durably as possible.
What to expect from a physiotherapy sessio
The first physiotherapy session lasts 90 minutes so that we can get to know, assess, treat and teach the patient in front of us. After that, each treatment will last 60 minutes, where we will reassess and apply the techniques needed that day, most of the time being different in each session, following the evolution of the patient's condition.
In our clinical practice, we don't believe in across-the-board treatments for all patients and diagnoses.
All the professionals in our equipa multidisciplinar are committed to continuous training, specializing and perfecting their manuality and clinical reasoning, with the aim of bringing you the best in rehabilitation.
RPG was born 30 years ago in France by Philippe Souchard following previous studies that gave a view of the human body as being organized by muscle chains
Let's imagine each muscle in our body, individual and segmental, but connected to a neighboring muscle and so on. With this image we can easily see that when one muscle is, for whatever reason, affected in its physiology (malfunctioning), it will uncoordinate the neighboring muscle and the changes will spread like a shockwave throughout the body.
RPG is an individua method (adjusted to each patient's problem) and a global method (it works the affected muscle chain in a single posture, stretching all the muscles in that chain).
In an RPG session, the physiotherapist begins by getting to know the patient's history, symptoms and complementary tests. They then assess body alignment (muscle shortening, misalignment, muscle weakness, oculo-motor coordination, plantar arch, etc.), carry out specific tests and define a treatment plan in which they choose the postures - muscle chains - to be worked on. After the treatment, the patient will be taught a job to continue at home, and ergonomic changes will be suggested in the workplace or in day-to-day activities. The frequency of treatment and prognosis will be discussed together. The results are aimed at a healthy and aligned body, without movement restrictions or pain, thus preventing the most frequent causes of injury.
Over the last few years there have been numerous studies proving the effectiveness of this method in all ages and musculoskeletal pathologies, with spinal pathologies, particularly scoliosis, being the most frequent subject of these investigations. However, there are also studies showing excellent recovery in knee and shoulder pathologies, increased joint range of motion and a reduction in chronic pain.
Neurological physiotherapy is a specialty of physiotherapy focused on the treatment of patients with disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system.
These disorders can result from various conditions, such as brain injuries, strokes, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injuries, neuropathies, among others.
Manual techniques and therapeutic exercises are used to achieve the goals set together.

Manual techniques and therapeutic exercises are used to achieve the goals set together.
This is an area of physiotherapy focused on treating dysfunctions related to muscles, bones, joints, ligaments and tendons.
This area of physiotherapy deals with a wide range of conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, providing pain relief, restoration of function and improving patients' quality of life.
In the physiotherapy sessions, strategies will be implemented to prevent the recurrence of injuries and promote long-term health by teaching patients ergonomic techniques, correct postures and exercises to perform at home.
All the exercises performed during the session are monitored and corrected by the physiotherapist at all times to ensure that they are performed correctly and lead to the expected results.
A specialty that focuses on prevention, diagnosis, treating, recovery injuries and improve sports performance.
Aims to optimize performance through manual techniques, therapeutic exercises and teaching to improve the quality of movement and technical gesture.
Whenever possible, we work in coordination with coaches and other professionals who play convergent roles.
Physiotherapy plays a very important role right from birth.
From bronchitis, scoliosis, injuries or developmental pathologies, physiotherapy plays a very active role in a child's growth.
Physiotherapists work to help children achieve their maximum development potential and independence in activities of daily living.
Early diagnosis has higher success rates in terms of outcomes, and as such, the physiotherapist's approach can start from the first days of life and teaching caregivers is essential.
Treatment of diseases and conditions affecting the respiratory system in children and adults with the aim of improving lung function, relieving respiratory symptoms, prevent complications and increase the patient's quality of life through techniques aimed at:
Physiotherapy plays a very important role in this pathology as it aims to reduce the side effects of treatment, prevent complications, restore physical function and increase quality of life, particularly after surgery (mastectomy or lumpectomy) and treatment (radiotherapy and chemotherapy).
The objectives include:
Through a very gentle and precise touch, the physiotherapist/osteopath assesses the rhythmic movement of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and shapes it in the search for normality. This makes it possible to release restrictions in the connective tissues that could affect the movement of the CSF and the function of the nervous system.
